Most small to mid-sized retailers buy inventory through third party tools. However, this soon becomes a bottle neck and money pit as the company grows. Why does this happen? How can we scale inventory replenishment with growth of customer selection? I will walk through some of these challenges and solutions for running cost efficient replenishment operations.

Director of Supply Chain Product Development, leading Inventory Replenishment at Chewy. She is responsible for buying and placing all Chewy''s inventory so as to minimize cost of fulfillment and maximize speed of delivery for Chewy’s customer orders.
Prior to joining Chewy in 2022, Deb spent 8 years at Amazon. For most of her tenure at Amazon she built and led Topology and Network Planning for Amazon Fresh and Specialty Operations, expanding Grocery Delivery from 3 to 30+ cities. She also led innovation programs for Associate Experience and Long-Term Transportation Planning. She has 7 years of experience in Consulting and Technology, including the Big Four, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Arizona State University, with a focus on Supply Chain.
